If 8 were to be used as midbass ( from sub top end 65 - 80 up to 260ish ).
Coax in rear is troublesome ( as far as staging/imaging )

I understand that the 3way setup would be the ideal, but I need to work with what I got, and I ain't got the space under the seats or in the front footwell, these cars weren't made with space in mind one could say. I'm just hoping for more in the front, and going from a 4inch driven by the head unit at 20w~ish rms to a 5.25" component kit at 70w rms, I think that I'll be much more pleased with what I'm putting in now.
Nice call !
I also went with plugging the hole around speaker and adapter and adapter to doorplate with some strips of butylrubberadhesive originally meant to glue windshields to cars instead of some siliconeglue, was that a good call you think?
Excellent ! In build logs , pics of sound deadening , covering inside panel , etc..,

Holy cow, I must say that this is way beyond what it used to be, massive improvement and these speakers sound crisp. This is one of my least regtrettable decisions in a long time.
Huge thanks to everyone who chimed in on this thread!
Excellent !
