Keep in mind what Joe Biden said in and of itself is not illegal (and if you agree with this statement then you also agree what Trump asked of Ukraine was not illegal. You can't have one without the other). Countries make deals and requirements of each other all the time.

It's the linked fact of evidence that his son was on the board of a company being investigated by the prosecutor Joe got fired. There is now potential motivation and cause for abuse of power. That's what needs to be investigated - If Joe pushed for the firing of this prosecutor because he knew this company his son was a part of was being investigated.
