LOL! That did finally occur to me a few minutes ago. I've never actually done it that way (using beans, peas, etc.). What I've always done is simply watch cone movement while gradually raising and lowering frequency with a tone generator until I've identified the frequency at which the cone moves least.

It’s a Jeep, how hard would that really be?

Just realized I forgot to add a link to the tone generator:

You could probably get close enough by just watching the coil through the window. Just look visually for the least movement but make sure you do it at low/normal volume or just enough to see it move. Should be around 30-33 Hz. If you can reach under the box and gently rest your finger on the dust cap while doing the test then even a better. When the cone is almost stopped you are there.

Gentlemen, I suddenly have an incredible sounding system!
Truthunter and I spent 3 hours last night with MiniDSP and Dirac, and the results are amazing. I was blown away by how fast and relatively easy it was to get results with the Dirac program.
I am going to do a lot of listening today and I'll post more impressions later, but so far this Jeep (even being a horrible platform for SQ) is my best sounding vehicle so far!

Haha! TeamViewer remotely controlling my laptop FTW! But that doesn't make Ryan any less of an awfully nice guy, anyways!

So.... I guess the sub and it’s box sounds good. That’s good to see on here. Really glade to see this David.
