The next thing I need to do is paint the inside black... Also, I am rethinking the cantilever and instead thinking of some aluminum legs to hold it up. Just haven't figured out what shape and style, but something thick and aluminum. Otherwise this box is just going to be lots of black carpet.

I say go with the cantilever. You can always add legs later if necessary.

Thank you! There WILL be lights for sure... Red LEDs!! I ordered the 3/4" thick acrylic window from the guy on eBay - it will have a 1/4" radius on the corners and polished edges.

True, or I could cantilever it with an aluminum base... I'm thinking like thick aluminum, maybe a big block of it, something kinda industrial looking...
