Nice! Is that an AP vent opposite the baffle?

Looks good man. But where are the drywall screws?
They might say "don't try this at home" but nothing about not trying it at your friend's house.

    Lol

Hey, maybe I should use some this time, as this is not a subwoofer... Just to give my critics something to talk about!

where does the aperiodic vent go ? is it just back into the back of the dash or is it venting to somewhere that the "back wave" won't enter the cabin ? Its fine I'm sure, traditional home audio aperiodic speakers would vent into the same space obviously, and its a very attenuated wave.

I've been having success with building much smaller than recommended boxes for door woofers lately. Strangely enough adding an aperiodic vent hasn't changed the measurements much, but I find they sound better after I add one. I should do a post on my experiences.

Since this is a build thread, I'm sure you will let us know how it turns out. I didn't want to go back and re-read the whole thread but what woofers are you using ?

Cleaned up the baffle, painted it and wrapped the pod in CLD. It's amazing how different it sounds when you knock on it!

You realize the drywall screw joke is gonna stick with you from now until the end of time right?

Yes, the vent goes back into the dash toward the fire wall...
I would be interested in what you have done with venting, too. I'll def post up my impressions.
