Do you remember how much space there is for mounting the amps? Debating whether to put them behind the passenger seat (like you did), or the driver's side rear seat.

There's definitely more space towards the bottom of the back wall than towards the upper regions. To be honest, I'm not so sure I'm going to get away with the current set-up. I though I had enough room (yes, did measure...but thinking incorrectly), but I'm pretty close to hitting the amp with the back of the seat. There is some space in between the seat-back frame, but I will have to do some modifications me thinks.
If it doesn't work, I'm going to have to rebuild the amp rack so that it runs across the bottom of the back wall; utilizing both sides of it. Sucks, but I'm prepared for it if I have to go this route.
Good info. I keep looking at the driver's side because there is supposed to be space there where the battery would be on ETorque models - and it would allow much shorter runs of wire.
But along the bottom would work too... that's not a bad idea at all. Probably allow easier access for any troubleshooting or the DSP/Amplifier controls.

What trim level do you have? If you own a Laramie or higher, you'll have the reclining seats, which allows you to pull a string on the back to fold the seat-backs down. I'm going to attach a longer cord so there's easier access to the latch. This was one of the reasons I decided to mount my amps the way I did, but again, that top amp is pretty close to hitting the seat.
I have enough wire ran to make any modifications, thank goodness.
We do have a Laramie, but just the Quad Cab and not the Crew. Read a few places saying just the Crew Cabs recline

Shoot. That would make sense though as the Quad cab isn't quite as roomy as the Crew. You should have close to the same amount of space behind the seats though.
You might still have a latch that allows the seats backs to fold forward. A lot of companies include that but it isn't designed to be done everyday. If your seat backs unlatch, then you can add a string to pull to do that whenever. It is just a pain to put them back up as you have to have them lined up perfect.

I'll try to pull the seats this weekend and find out for sure. Really like what cueball981 is saying about mounting the amps in a row along the bottom. Would allow the most room, and probably better cooling too.

That is kind of what I did on my f150. But I did make sure to leave enough room to work on the cables under the amps. I also used factory mounting points.
Around the rear window motor
You can see in this picture that I notched the ABS to into the back seat bracket to use that bolt.
Used the factory seat bolts and the carpet remained under the bottom of the rack. It was a tight fit but that is a good thing.
I didn't quite have enough for this last one...But the washer gripped it a little bit.
