Just out of curiosity, do the deep dish tweets need to be installed differently? I'm just wondering about the pole-vent looking hole in the back, can it be sealed in an enclosure?

It is sealed. Hard to tell from the manufacturer pics, but you can see it on the shallow version. From Madisound:
"The back chamber is die cast in aluminum and designed with a contoured shape that functions as a heat sink in high power applications."

In case anyone was wondering, the Fs on these are 450Hz. The shallow chamber versions are 750Hz. I've played a pair of these (not these specific ones, but another deep chamber pair) down to 1500Hz with no issues at all. These are one of my favorite metal dome tweeters, I just have two pair and don't need these, and yes these are the better condition pair
