    I guess I should answer the original question. Yes, a new system that is properly tuned will sound better than a system that was done in the 80's. Even though there were some DSPs available in the early 90's, they weren't as flexible as the ones we have today and most competitors didn't have enough channels of amplification to benefit from what we have now. The DSPs of today are wonderful tools that competitors of yore could only dream about having.
