If the fig tree is Israel, the re-emergence was in 1948, which hints at unsettling things becoming more common place.
Until "The Rapture" takes place and those who are left behind endure the "Tribulation".

The Hopi and The Bible and Islam all have similar passages about the End of Days.

When some just up and vanish in an instant, those less fortunate will turn to the anti-christ to save them from the ensuing hell on earth.

Just a note, that "utter joy" thing happened to me, back in Dec 2012. Unexpected, beyond-powerful, and life-changing. It also went away a few days later, but the experience is seared in my memory. I know what complete and total peace and joy feel like now (without drugs mind you.) It is a state of vibration. It is a state of energetic being.
