Quick question - what type of label maker did you use on the RCA interconnect labeling?

It’s a dymo rhino 4200 which prints upto 19mm heatshrink and vinyl labels upto 19mm also, and thanks!

Nah, forward thinking me did it plenty big enough… 2x12” is more displacement than a 15, it has a 350mm square opening on the floor so over a 15’s sd

In other news, the midbass was a little resonant from the under seats, so with a few pointers from a good friend I set about playing with eq, crossovers and levels…

ended up with the under seats playing to 40ish with a small rise around 5-6db from 200 and then timing and setting the sub eq to provide a continued rise to 20…

you can also see the dip I have on my right midbass driver around 100, I have worked around it, there’s no point putting eq into it, so the left has a little tweak to fill it a little and timing is obviously bang on with smaart orange is rear sub and midbass combined, violet is front midbass showing excellent extension, this is required because the rear sub has a standing wave related dip around 63hz so the midbass fills this perfectly! To a roughly 45hz crossover point, but it also overlaps a fair bit adding all the way to 100ish hz which surprises some people

I have also put the delays up so you can see how far off a tape measure can be from perfect settings and also included the resulting phase graphs for front midbass and rear IB subs…

I also redid the fuse holder at the front so my additional 70mm alternator cable is fused also (Emma regs say 300a max on a 70mm cable and I downrated the 110a alt and 70mm cable to 150a as I can adjust the voltage/current if I wish by a small amount

Because I’m in a budget limited class the ib15au is a cheaper alternative to the sbp15 on the Emma price list and doesn’t offer me any advantage, especially if I put two in later on from the same amp
