How much of a difference does it make if you toe-in midranges and tilt them a bit upwards?... I had much better results when testing positions when they were semi-on-axis or on-axis....all focuses become better and center image width become correct compared to LC/RC, L/R. Height was not an issue in any case.

I will try a variety of aimings, but I think due to the shallow windscreen rake even when I tilted them up and in a little the low end still smeared across the screen somewhat, I tried about 20 different positions by moving and mounting the little ‘drum’ enclosure up and back to see how it effected the stage was not good until I got back to 20ish degrees off the vertical... any lower and side window and screen reflections kind of ruined the stage, I will try a variety of angles once I’ve made a 10cm deep by 35x20cm 7 litre enclosure with a simple hole in the corner and adjust the angles from there to find the best passenger side I can achieve in the position in the corner (I think I will use deadener to seal it up temporarily and adjust the angles forward and in) I will do this with my trusty laser aligner and a grid on the screen to ascertain the best angle and then be able to reproduce it after the test accurately

im also not adverse to different aimings left and right as you don’t sit symmetrically in the car so left and right may well be different

We’d best not talk about drilling a piece of steel mesh to a 6mm hole earlier... holding the mesh with my left hand and the drilled snapped, I was pressing on hard as it was a right angle and I’d got it wrapped over the edge of the bench so it didn’t move... when the drill snapped (we all know they are sharp normally when they snap...) but I saved the bench with my thumb! It’s gone in and down to the bone! It didn’t smart too much, just bled lots!! It got tissue and insulation tape as per workshop rules lol

on a brighter note I have ordered a midi fuse holder with an 80a fuse for the single lonely fuse that’s located on top of the factory battery, once it arrives I’ll redo the engine and chassis earths with 70mm cable doubled up to ensure the new 240a alt will have all the help it can get

im in the U.K., we refer to them as midi fuse holders if you mean the one in the last pic, very readily available, equivalent to about 7 dollars I reckon

few steri strips and it feels a lot better I’m surprised I’ve not injured myself before now, I broke both arms at least four times each as a kid... these days me mum would prob get reported by school for child abuse... I was on first name terms with the nurses at the local a&e as a kid lol
