    LOC Question

Is there a loc that doesn't require running a 12v constant for the remote wire out sensing to work?

    Re: LOC Question

    I've not seen any personally.

However, there are LOCs that don't have constant power or remote line wiring. Many "cheaper" brands and models merely have the speaker wire inputs and a grounding wire. Heck, my JBL MS series amplifiers came with speaker wire to RCA adapters, though there is no adjustment to lower (or boost) the signal.

Still, it seems you are seeking a model with a remote turn-on out to tell your amps to power up. That may not be required if your amplifiers have input sensing turn-on.

It's for an install in someone else's car. No auto sensing with the amp. I had a loc 20 years ago that did this. If there was no music for like 30 seconds it would shut off. Now I can't find one. Sometimes annoying. I was more curious than anything. I'll took an extra wire.

Just use the modern style. You can grab power and ground at the amp.
