Grinder , do you think a straightline is the quickest path between two points or does adding bends work better ?

When you're driving somewhere and encounter a bend, do you turn around and go home?

One would usually add a bend if the port did not fit the length.
This gets easier to have happen when the port diameter gets larger, which is usually done to prevent port noise.
And then box gets bigger because the port sucks up volume being both bigger in diameter and longer.

Holmz and Grinder , I understand what you are getting at . We all know that a port does not "have" to be inside a box ( only the mouth or opening ) has to be in box.

Yes, we all know that driving off-road through yards and fences is often the most direct path to our destination...

Two choices: all form fitting (inside or outside) and straight shot (chuffing becomes an issue @ high output).

    False dilemma fallacy (two choices).

    Perfectionist fallacy (high output).
