Currently running the HiFi4250 in the 2 x 800w @ 4ohm configuration with 2.5ft long 12GA Blue Jeans Cable runs to the subs without issues. Although I’m being modest with my gains and I doubt I’m actually sending 800w to my subs. Closer to 500watts or so if I guesstimated.

I think you’re thinking 12 volt DC supply voltage to the amplifier where the wire size matters because of the lower voltage (12.5-14.4 volts DC in) but we’re talking about A/C (alternating current) and higher voltages (~10-50 volts) between the amp and speaker so the actual current is lower and voltage higher. This has no bearing on what class (A/B vs D) the amplifier is.

You need to use the speaker wire calculator (very first one) not the system power design assistant one to determine speaker wire size needed.

Good to see an old school brand still keeps up and pleases its customers. They had some pretty solid stuff 10 years ago. Glad to see they are still going strong. BTW, customer service and good product is everything in a market flooded with competition. Good choice. Thanks for the feedback.
