AF GB60/GB10 vs Hertz Mille 1650.3

Trying to bring myself out of the doldrums and need opinions on one vs the other

Tough call... they're both nice sets.
I've never owned the Hertz, but have heard them in a few vehicles, and they sounded incredible.
I've owned the GB60/GB10 combo, and it's super nice too. (it's better if you throw a GB25 in there too)

I'd say the GB60 delivers low-end bass a bit better than the Hertz.
But for pure overall sound quality, I might give the edge to the Hertz.
Tough one... they are both nice.

I haven’t heard the Hertz but own the GB60/GB15 combo with ported GB12 and man it is just phenomenal for me. I don’t think you will be disappointed with either so long as you get the tuning right.

If going with the Hertz, do yourself a favor and replace the ML 1600 6.5 with the ML 1800 7.

I run the hertz 1650.3, 700.3 and 280.3. It sounds great, but my biggest issue is lack of bass around 80-125Hz. If you look at the frequency response of the 1650.3 (1800.3 is even worse for some reason),it starts dropping at about 125Hz and is 5dB lower at 80Hz. If you look at the GB60, it doesn't start dropping until 100Hz and it is isn't as steep with 80Hz only 2dB less.

If I had the choice between the two right now I'd pick the GB60.

I already have the Hertz and the ml700 mids. They are currently installed. I have a really good price on the AF's withe the GB40 mid. I would pick these up once I finish sorting things with my mom. I would have to sell the already installed Hertz (been installed for a little over a month with very limited use do to my circumstances). Would it be worth it?

I'm really curious about trying the AF. Anyone interested in a nearly new 10/10 Mille 3-way and 2-way set?
