    New from Nor Cal

    Just found this site from all the "references" on the DIYMA site.

    I'm old, fat, bald and have a 65 Caddy drop top that is currrently getting an LS transplant.

    I have a Mike Singer alternator on order, a couple of VXi amps (800/8 & 1000/1) sitting around waiting to power up some JL 6.5s, 3.5s & dash tweets.

    New from Nor Cal

    Found these photos;

    I originally was going to run two JL 12-W7s in the trunk, but that big ol car doesn't have that big of a trunk. Even for sealed boxes as I have the air management system along with two group 31 XS batteries in the trunk.

    So for now I plan to install two JL 12-TW3s wired to 2 ohm in a sealed enclosure and see how that works with the top down.

    My (non audio) business is in Benicia and I live in the North Bay.

    Grew up in Oakland before it was a hipster town and lived in the WC before it became big time $$$

    Now I live in the middle of "Wine Country" or as my wife will say "Alcoholics with Attitudes"

    Thank you sir! Please remember, I only look like I wear a medium, I am actually an XL.

    And thank you for putting in the work on this forum. BTW, your Tide has a big game tomorrow!

    Thanks, his name is Ajax - the dog, not the car.

    Great! Now I'm gonna tear up like a little Girl Scout who lost her cookies!

    I feel for you as I know how tough it is to lose a good buddy like Wolf - I would be calling him "Woolfie" - Our family calls Ajax "Fluffy" all the time. Prior to Ajax were brothers Apollo & Zeus, before them Kaiser & Tonga and the list goes on!
