What sub and how much power? Box type?
I've always been curious of an IB system in a vehicle... in my house, I have 4x Fi 18IB3v1 on an iNuke 6000. The output from ~40hz and down (especially 10-20hz... I don't know how I haven't broken a window or two by now) is INSANE but anything higher than that is pretty lack luster in comparison. Do they carry that output better in a vehicle?
You have cabin gain or transfer function in a vehicle, No Destiny, So it`s even better/louder in a vehicle.
But you also have a ton of shit that loves to vibrate in a car so typically I'd say you can make bass sound better in a home.
To shake it up at home with any type of enclosure, just add more power. Glass in windows will vibrate as will glass ware in cupboards ! Turn it up !
As for car just pad or mass load vibrating stuff.
I can only imagine the destructive forces those 4x 18 subs are going to reproduce and no amount of sound deadening is going to help any car from vibrating apart with four 18” subwoofers in it, even with an IB setup if you can fit them, lol. I would think you would need a bread/utility truck like Gerald’s truck to fit all that. Speaking of which he had a single IB 15 or 18 I think that sounded real good.

IB will give incredible lows! 8 " or bigger midbass/woofer will round it all out, nicely.
