Thread: Just Ripped My Entire System Out...

cool. next time if you've got a soft spot (not encased in metal) below the top of your dash, you can stuff your GPS receiver(s) there. it's worth testing, no need to run them all the way to the back

i've got mine on top of the center vents under the top of the dash

Re: Just Ripped My Entire System Out...

Took about 3 hours to remove the radar detector and laser jammer... but I was kinda putzing around. I'm sure I could have done it in 2 hours.

Looking forward to getting the new ride... but gotta be honest; I'm totally not looking forward to installing all the equipment in it!
My problem is that; I get obsessed, and keep working at it, until it's done. Like... for a couple days straight. Without sleep.
Kinda the reason I rarely take any install pics. Just too focused on doing the work. Pictures become a distraction.

I may try a new approach to this build.
Since I already know what equipment I'm using (I already have it all), and I already know the installation process for BMW, maybe I'll just do it at a normal pace.
    But I doubt it...

Started the audio build on the new X6-M last weekend... I'll release a full log when it's complete (probably by the end of this upcoming weekend).

In the meantime, here's a few more shots of the new ride (just because I cut polished it, and want to show it off):
