Anyhow the Mrs and I were in London ~12-15 years ago. We saw three live shows. A Lloyd or Weber one on soccer, the vagina monologues, and a pet shop boys musical one.
We get into the pet shops boys one early and waddle to the bar. Noticing that we were different I asked the bartender what sort of performance it was... He said, "a gay one... but you can have a refund if you want."
it was the best play/musical I have seen (excluding Don Quotix), and the music was awesome from the opening scene.

Anyhow I knew that the Village People had a big following, but felt like I had crawled out from under a rock with the Pet Shop boys... I was one of the last three people that did not seem to know it... it was totally off my radar.
