Agree with both parts. I kinda like the 84'ish Chevy trucks as well.

I also have two 93 S10's in good condition. Well one is my wife's. She drives a 15' Silverado 2500hd and doesn't really like it. I've used it a few times in the last year and can't stand it. I've been working on get S10 the last week or two so she can start driving it around again. I pulled the interior and had the tranny rebuilt. It's a fantastic winter driver. I don't drive my S10 in the winter.

    I upgraded the wiring
I love breakers and my hammer crimper

I didn't get great pictures but I ran the power wire through the frame via conduit to the back of the cab up and through with a grommet.

The fuse on the left is a temporary extra battery place holder. I'm using this to power my trailer when in tow to charge all the cordless power tools. Don't want to hurt the trucks battery.

You can see where I came in the cab. I used a grommet and some butyl tape. I sanded down the ground point. It got painted they were both painted over.... More on that later.

    Before

I used some PL400 to glue a 3/4 plywood board for mounting. I held it in place overnight while the glue dried.

I reused the vinyl backed carpet. I had to scrape the factory backing off to glue it.

Awesome. Love a good work truck and the utilitarian ways you're getting things done.
They might say "don't try this at home" but nothing about not trying it at your friend's house.

That is pretty awesome! Nice work on the wire routing and re-using that factory carpet panel.
