Not new to forums but new to this one after some years of only using fb....f that bs & most things associated.
I've been in or around car audio since I was 15 (47 now) & have had smaller to larger systems in daily to just a larger demo 2nd vehicle. Currently doing an "SQ-ish" build in my daily (2017 Cruze LT) with a single DD715, Dayton dsp, Hybrid U2's, Fi n7's, DD EX6.5's, Phoenix Gold SX2 12000.6, 2 DD M1d's strapped (using a borrowed Taramps MD8k atm). Looking fwd to the interaction of a forum again as well as learning & helping where I can.

I'm in the IT field and I've refused to even create a Facebook account (or Twitter, or any other "social media" platforms). I really have no interest and from what I've seen (my wife uses Facebook a little), Facebook isn't even a great platform for something like a car or car audio forum. Not much "organization" of information, from what I've seen.

I absolutely hate how some companies use Facebook as their "primary" way of communicating with the public (new products, general news, etc). In those cases, it really limits their visibility to people like me - that is what official company websites are supposed to be used for!!
