Trust me I’ve run out of money to spend on this and have to sell some stuff to offset the costs, lol. I had a DLS up for sale for a long time now but since it’s turning out to be such a great sounding amplifier I’m having second thoughts about selling it now.

With the Pioneer being talked about I found this and thought it should go in this thread. I'm impressed!

They might say "don't try this at home" but nothing about not trying it at your friend's house.

Hi...I put a unique arrangement of test tones utilized for twisting into the cylinders amps and out the pleasant speakers. At that point I took the Mrs old semiconductor unit and the shelf speakers, which sound somewhat dry.
Also, their bending was bring down that the framework that sounded better and 10x the cash.
Sentiments are superior to truth, so abstract and non repeatable tests in my view are tricky. However, they are fascinating to peruse.

Re: My own Amplifier Sound Quality Shootout

I may have set up the testing station again and I may have an interesting amplifier to put to the test against my JL Audio Vxi800/8i but I don’t want to remove the harness to the JL. I need to borrow a JL vxi power block and speaker harness so I can just unplug my Vxi amp from my car and test it on my bench against the contender. Anyone have anything like this willing to lend or sell?
