    Phoenix Arizona Area Meetups

We had this thread over on the other site so figured it should be transferred here.

    Tomorrow October 19, 2019
Justin Zazzi and I (Doug Dobson will also be there) are going to the cars and coffee event at 8:30 am. It lasts until 10pm. We are going to grab lunch/coffee close by once we are done looking at all of the pretty cars.

    Address is
    1090 W. Queen Creek Rd
    Chandler, AZ 85248

Side note: For anyone from Phoenix, Justin and I are trying to get a same time same place monthly meetup for all of us sound quality friends. Example: Second Wednesday of the month at some restaurant at 6pm.
What day works best for you? Weekend or weekday is good.
I know I can't do Tuesday or Thursday because I teach college classes those nights.

It was nice meeting Obiwan last night too!

And, if you have never seen Skizer tune.....holy cow he is fast! Just imagine someone typing like 100 words per minute, only that is Skizer using the helix software.

Oh bummer I missed that. I was too busy keeping my car from getting towed haha.

Nice to meet Obiwan, SkizeR, Big Kev, and Chris last night!

That was the best table we've sat at so far.
Measure with mics, mark with chalk, cut with torch, grind to fit, sand to finish, paint to match.
Updated Justin tuning sheet (Justin and Erica tuning companion for SMAART and REW)
    Do it for them.

Third Saturday of February will be the 15th. I have to work until 4pm that day so lets do a night thing or push the date to the 22nd. Which option do the people meeting prefer?

I know Skizer will be back after last time too ....pretty sure he is just going to move here... Justin, get him a tuning job at Rockford!

I'm available all that weekend and can meet whenever. I'm ok to choose another weekend if that works better for other folks.

    Re: Phoenix Arizona Area Meetups

I will throw this out for anyone else interested in the Phoenix Area.

We are doing some how to use REW to tune a DSP at my house this weekend around 2:30pm. I am by no means an expert on tuning but I would say I can get results with REW. The after REW and by ear tuning part is where I struggle.

I know Chris will be there as he is the one that really wants to learn. Justin will also be there but he is coming just to hang out, not to give a lecture on tuning.

If you are interested, PM me for my address. Not going to post that here.... I will say I live in Goodyear so you know the general location of where you will have to travel to.
