I just wanna know what kind of goat-rape-zydeco you goofballs listen to down there that requires you to toss 900W into an IB rig... in a car... at 20 cycles.

My goal is a set up that gets loud, like well into the mid 140s loud, or louder. But retains sq at low volumes.

As for music? I have lots of electronic stuff that dips below 30hz and I have a pipe organ SQ album that was recorded on an organ with a couple 64ft pipes with a 16hz fundamental.

The lowest musical note to ever be recorded was on a pipe organ and its like 2.8hz.

I likes the lows, I always have.

Do you have any idea how much thermal dissipation 900W is in terms of lack of efficiency? And what power compression is?

    Pipe organs....

one of the 6 I see on a daily basis...

    Wanna see a "gut shot?"

So are you suggesting my goals are unrealistic?
Cause, if not some suggestions to help me achieve them would be nice. It is why I posted the thread after all...

    Cool pics btw.

Work with any organs that utilize rotary woofers?

Do you really think a pair of 3" copper voice coils that are rated for a couple 1000 watts each will deal with much power compression off 900 watts spread between the two of them?

2 10's, 2 cubes, tuned to 28. Running off a 1Kw rated amp. Nice down low, will still hit mid 140's

You have no trunk. I have a trunk and I have a hard time believing that setup is as loud and as sq oriented as an IB setup with 2 15s.

it hasn't been metered, but it's louder than the vette was (139.8@36Hz on music)

Some think it does ok on sq too
