    Re: Amp Fuse Block

Thanks that is good to know. My original question was when I start to mount the fuse block under the hood of the truck I was wanting to know where the best place to mount it and if anyone had picks of there install place in a 2014 through 2018 gm truck so I could get an idea of the best place to mount and what they used to mount it with.

    Re: Amp Fuse Block

The fuse under the hood is not for the amplifier(s)...it is to protect power wire connection to the battery. That is why it is as close to the battery as possible. The fused distribution block closer to the amplifiers serves a similar purpose....to protect the wire connecting to the amplifiers. Assuming each amplifier has its own on board fuses,,,those are strictly for the amplifiers.

Where it fits and cool air is abundant. Pan ties or zip ties , screws or nuts and bolts ???
