    New to the forum

    Hey there,
I'm new to the forums. I'm an old skool audio guy that hasn't done much on the car audio front in near 25 years. I purchased a new vehicle a couple years ago and the quality of the factory stereo is so bad I had to do something and I can't seem to do anything half way. So I'm doing a full SQ system in my 2017 Nissan Titan XD S Crew Cab. I can't find many parts that fit it so I have to do a lot of experimenting to get there. Had to work with the Axxess guys to get my controls working and things like that. My vehicle isn't even listed on their site.
Thanks for the site and I really love the vintage builds that are on here.

    Re: New to the forum

I got the head unit in and worked with the Axxess guys to get the steering wheel controls to work. During that process I mapped the harness and decided to run cameras which I did the other day. Next I'm putting CDT HD speakers in the front stage and a custom box under the rear seat. I'm seriously considering the Dayton 408 DSP. I would love to go out and compete SQ again but can't find anything in my area to even go to for ideas. Times have changed for sure.

Welcome. Sounds like you have a plan, and that’s a start! Have you already sound deadened your machine?

I have the mat and the roller ready to go and will do each bit as I expose the metal. I'm going to use up some old Dyamat and Accumat I have before I buy a bunch more.
