    1987 S-10 Blazer

I found a bunch of old pictures of my Blazer I had in high school and college. I figured scanning and posting them was the only acceptable course of action.

    What it looked like

The first "system" I had was a Majestic 9400SW amp and 2 Orion Cobalt 12's. It was great! Here is a pic of the subs

If you could zoom in on the dash you'd see an old Alpine shaft style tape deck. It was in there when I bought the trucks in 1993.

The rest of these I'm not sure what the correct order is. I think they are in chronological order but hey it's been 25ish years, I don't remember.

I paid for this custom amp rack after I upgraded to an Orion 225HCCA and 2 XTR 12s

I made the little covers so you couldn't see the amp looking through the windows

I requested and paid for this version of the door speakers going in. The installer still brings it up from time to time. It was apparently a very major PITA.

Then I got brave and started trying my own installs.
    Here is some sound deadening

I made these bottoms for the door panel

Yep that's me back in the day

    Almost in

In the background of the above pic you can see a spare tire box I had built. It was my first shot at fiberglassing too.
    Installed

I made a "custom" center console almost exclusively to add cup holders

I even tried kick panels with some Cerwin Vega 4x6 plate speakers

I then got into SPL competition. I think some of these pics I have posted on here before.

A score from one of my first shows

    found some matching vinyl

    and matching carpet

Got out of that and tried to beautify it before I finally had to sell it.
I still have these Diamond speakers

    And this was the end.

That's all the pics I could find. Hope you enjoyed my trip down memory lane.

18" Stroker, AND you kept the spare!!!

That is one awesome progression you did my friend. Always cool to see/hear how each of us started into this hobby.
    Are you not entertained?!?!

Those pics are awesome. Especially that first Stroker box! Wow! I don't know the thought process behind it, but it was unique!
