I picked up an SL550 roadster on Memorial Day. It looked good, but all horizontal surfaces were VERY rough. So out comes clay bar

Cleaned up a bit

Looks pretty good, right... not so fast. Under LED lights the scratches are very visible

Didn't think my PC buffer would be enough, but it's what I got.





Hood done (cut only, no glaze or wax). Made a big diff, but still needs a rotary

Whew, that was a lotta work.

Had just enough time to get 2 pix before rain





Final thoughts: eliminated some scratches, needs a rotary to be perfect. Still, car looks better
