Central/North AL Fall GTG Saturday, Nov. 9

BigAl's Fourth Annual Big Birthday Bash!

I'm also going to dub this the first meet of the Southeastern Quality Sound Invitational...or SEQSI for short

I would like to invite everyone over to listen to some cool audio systems, hang out and cut up with your friends, and help me celebrate my Birthday (actually the 12th). We will probably also have a pre-meet and tuning session the night before.

The place: My house in Hayden, AL (about 25 miles north of Birmingham)
    The date: Saturday, November 9
    The time: 9AM to 9PM

    Optional things to bring:
    - your favorite demo music
    - a folding chair
    - a camera
    - Tools and tuning equipment
    - a friend
    - a canopy

I hope to see you there!

Hear anything you liked ? Sound System wise.
Anyone trying to put an 18" in their car after hearing yours?

Thanks for hosting the event for your birthday, Al! Was a real good meet. I knew it was gonna be legit when I was coming down the road and saw you had ordered a port-a-potty for us!

Those drone pics are awesome! I took a couple photos as well but not as many as I should have.

LOL, the portajohn was for the construction workers doing my house addition, but I'm glad it worked out in your favor.

I had a great time Al, appreciate your hospitality (and your directions to avoid the B'ham construction!). I didn't get as many demos as I should have, maybe next time!

Thanks for hosting another great meet Al. You're quite the gracious host and would call you a friend too. There really was a good pool of collective knowledge and that's what I feel makes these meets so great. People got helped that needed help. Erin gave me some great pointers as always and totally appreciative. There's a lot of things my ears don't pick up on and need to get a tone generator app if my special needs smart phone will support it (not paying for the level of smart phone the cool kids are running). For anyone wondering that 18" Ultimax Al has played clean and deep. And the front end isn't far from really being great too. I wouldn't be against doing a back seat delete in a truck to run something like thatBack seat in a regular quadcab/extended cab just gets in the way most of the time anyway. Erin's car sounded as good as it looked. Scott's Lexus was awesome and had a tune that you could just chill out to. Papa's car still sounds good after all these years and Justjason's car is AMAZING. And Justin's Corolla isn't far from busting out into something great.
They might say "don't try this at home" but nothing about not trying it at your friend's house.

Your drone video is better than mine, I still struggle to get smooth video. Admittedly, I spend more time taking still photos and never really practice video.
