Battery died-JL twk not powering on?
My battery died last night, my fault, anyway jumped it today. Afterwards my heady unit (4100nex) was showing the song to be playing but there was no sound. Unplugged my phone a couple times , still nothing. Finally , it came on, and everything was full tilt and not on the tune. I noticed then the little red indicator light for the twk was not on.
I tried going in to the hu to try to reset the settings but could t Bc the audio choices were gray (could t click on them).
This happened once before but when I jumped it all was well except I had to re enter the “custom eq” portion.
Im at work now, so I’m hoping to get some ideas to maybe check when I get home. I really hope I didn’t lose the tune as I went out of town to Ben Zimmerman to have him do it. I have no clue how to or a laptop to even try.
Anyone have any ideas why the dsp would lose power after the battery died?

I have no experience with that processor, but my alpine h100 would lose settings if battery died. Contact your tuner and see if he can email you the file. Surely you know someone with a lappy. It should be fairly simple to send file to unit. Look it up in the manual.
Good luck

Thanks for the reply. Ya I can work on that. Biggest issue I guess is getting power to the dsp and or figuring out why th hu is now not wanting to play the source, phone

I would try a hu system reset first (page 7 of owner's manual)

No luck w the hu reset. It still blocks out all audio adjustment options.
