    SkizeR's 1990 Nissan 300zx ground up build

    for those who didnt see it on diyma..

    Car: 1990 Nissan 300zx N/A (twin turbo swap going in after build is finished)
    Source Unit: Pioneer DEX-P99RS
    Tweeters: Scan-Speak Revelator R2904
    Mid Range: Scan Speak Illuminator 15wu
    Mid Bass: Melodic Acoustic Intimid8r's
    Subs: (2) Morel Ultimo 12's and (1) DIYMA R12
    Sub Amp: AudioQue 2200D and Zapco DC 750.2
    Mid Bass Amp: (2) Zapco DC 500.1
    Mid Range Amp: Zapco DC 360.4
    Tweeter Amp: Zapco DC 350.2
    Amp control: Zapco DRC-SL
    Sound Deadening: AlphaDamp and STP provided by Greg at South East Customs. Big thanks to him for the help.

    first thing i did was make s screen protector for the head unit. its to pretty to scratch lol..








    cant even tell its there..



    first day working on it.. to start it off, i gutted it and got it prepped for deadening.




    stock speakers were so damn old the surrounds turned to dust when you touched them.. lol



    so much dirt..

    more dirt..




    plenty of room for almost any midbass..


    dash removal.. didnt even plan on doing this. it just kinda happened lol






    new steering wheel with quick release and racing seats with 5pt harness..



    deadening from Greg over at South East Customs..

    moving to the A-pillars..

    stripped of the stock vinyl.



    Mounting rings epoxied onto a-pillars. (yes i realize they look like they are cut like crap.. i shaved areas down to leave clearance between the dash and windshield.)

    finished..



    i think they came out like shit, plus i wrapped them with shit, fake suede so i ended up re-doing them. this is what they look like right now..




    resin and bondo mix (works amazing to fill in those annoying pinholes and minor mistakes)

    relocating fuse panels, ecu, and other random modules so i have room to build my kick panels for the mids...
