At least once a year I make the pilgrimage to Detroit for the Woodward Dream Cruise. This year the weather was gorgeous and that brought out more cars than usual. I'm not going to complain about that. I had an absolute blast. Anywho on to some pictures.

That was Saturday. Then Monday I went to the Henry Ford Museum. That was one heck of an experience. I'm glad I went. The museum should be called a history museum, because so much history is there.

That beetle pickup reminded me of the old Rabbit pickup.

Oh I forgot to add these. I went down to the original train station, that now sits abandoned and got some photos. You may recognize it from some drifting videos. There was some drift event there the same day as the Dream Cruise.






The cop just sat there watching me take photos. Trust me I left as quietly as I could...LOL

I just finished a Thomas Edison biography and he and Ford were business and camping buddies. Was there a bunch of Edison stuff at the museum?

I'm sorry , but I cannot stand the new corvette. They camaro-ized it so it now looks like a bastard car child.

Yes, there was stuff there about Edison and Ford at the museum. It's really a history museum on par with the Smithsonian. I can't wait to go back and spend more time there.
I'm telling ya, the new Vette is flat out sexy in person. I've got video of it on the road. Eventually I'll get video from the cruise posted...LOL
