Another random tidbit...your nose is always within your field of vision, your brain just chooses to ignore it.

There is a spot on your retina that is completely blind where the optic nerve attaches. Your eyes constantly move a teeny tiny amount so your brain can fill in the two blanks. It is also corrected by the mental summation of the two eyes.
