It works well right out of the box (some assembly required). However, not as good as it could. I modified mine and siliconed all the seams and used foam gasketing tape to affix them to the table. This resulted in zero dust below the table, cleaner operating routers, and significantly quieter operation- I'd recommend the cabinet to anyone for a nice upgrade, but I firmly believe you need to silicone the seams and add a gasket to get your monies worth-

I should also add that you have to build an adapter plate to use them in the orientation that I did, other wise they are 90 degrees off when used with non incra lifts-

Yeah... I'll have to get new routers and switches when I get there, but since I'll be in Italy for 3 years and I would go insane without being able to build stuff, this is my solution. If I wasn't going to be renting a place there, I would just build out and retrofit a garage or basement as a workspace. For the next 5 or years or so, every tool or work surface I have will be need to be transportable. Unfortunately, all my electric tools from the US will need to be stored and replaced while I am living abroad. Talk about expensive headaches!!!!!!!!!!

That looks great. Where did you get the cabinet, and what kind of routers are you going to use?

I have a few plans Bob, some ranging from mandrel bent stainless steel tubing to basic abs/pvc pipe. It'll depend on material availability and time when I get to that stage. At the moment it is just done with flex hose.

The two cabinets for the routers are the incra clean sweeps and I got them from Joey at 12vTools... I want to say they are $119 each. Right now each lift has a Porter Cable 7518 in them, but they will have to change when I get to Italy and I'll need to pick up son 240v 50hz routers, blah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks! If you knew how I wanted to build it you'd really see something over the top. I was wanting a solid phenolic top ($3k alone), automated blast gates, etc... this is the dumbed down version. This is the Audison Voce to their Thesis line up. Some day I will have my "Thesis" router table setup... just not for a few years due to practicality.
