digging this! not sure how far you are from North Alabama but if you're close and ever want a hand with tuning this, feel free to swing by.

I completely agree, vintage style, with modern comfort.

    Are you not entertained?!?!

Not really close (Louisville Ky area), but might still take you up on the offer if I can't get it close to where it needs to be. I would love to watch someone more experienced go through the process to see what I don't know or understand.

I've read and read about tuning and I have all the gear to do it; I just don't have much experience doing it. Hopefully will be getting after it next weekend. In the meantime, my son and I are probably 8-10 hours of work away from completing a build in his Focus. It uses a Helix V Eight as the dsp/amp, so I will have an opportunity to work on tuning with it a bit sometime next week. Not going for a competition tune in it though - he wanted to have rear door speakers as well. My plan is to try and do a "comp" tune with rear fill to see how that works, and then just a rocking out tune for him. He has the handheld remote that will allow him to switch tunes on the fly. I've been snapping some pictures along the way so will probably post a simple build log on it.

Which border city? Will be in Goshen with family this weekend and may need a break to check it out. Ha!

Man, I wish I would have the truck back by this weekend but it is going to be at the upholstery shop until sometime next week. Oh, I am in Floyds Knobs Indiana. Just 10 or 15 minutes from Louisville

Cool! I actually used to live in Louisville. I had a co-op job at GE's Appliance Park for a semester in 2005. Used most of that money to buy a 12w7. The concrete skatepark there is killer.

I was born in Owensboro, but have lived in 'Bama since I was five.
