Z's beater-04 Ion extreme budget build

I picked up a commuter to allow the GTO to be garage queen. The car is rough cosmetically, but sound mechanically. Goal is a budget system that still might win a competition

Nice setup you have there. How is the sound compared to the GTO?

It sounds pretty good. Images well, stage is decently deep and wide. For spending under$300 to get it going, it's very good. But the GTO is at another level...

Surprisingly, a sealed R12 - one of the tightest sounding subwoofers I've experienced. It's awesome how good a lower budget daily setup can sound, and you used some very good equipment there. Kudos sir!
    Are you not entertained?!?!

Tweet pix, Bought these for the GTO and mounted them on axis. They sounded good, but stage would rise with volume. So, tried a new tactic in Saturn with better results.

Too hot to get in it
