    Re: Password spoofing emails

Yeah, I reset it this morning and I keep getting a pop-up that I can't exit out of. I have to refresh the page to get it to go away.

They had a capital I in my password that looked like a lower case L. It took a few tries to get the letter figured out.

    Re: Password spoofing emails

avsforums had a password reset as well. (I went to the site and got the notification there)

So, that's one way to verify. If you go to the site and try to log in you should get a notification that your pw was reset and then instructions on what to do after that.

And it's getting retarded with format of password. It's an audio forum for fuck sake- 10 characters, must use capital, lower case, number and symbol. I actually have to write down a password for a forum I rarely participate

Man, I hope that place gets hacked in to oblivion. The head honchos there are way too full of themselves to be as ignorant as they are. Starting with the owner who is a total douche nozzle.

If you go here: http://www.verticalscope.com/ and select an item from the "Our Verticals" menu, scroll to the bottom under the logos that come up and click on the link that says "View a complete list of our.... sites" then you will see all the forums that had passwords hacked.

    It's a lot.
