LOL...I met Clay back in November at a GTG in NC. At the time, he seemed like an audio noob...but over the past year, he's gone full-blown audiotard.

Full blown,for sure. I knew what I wanted in my car then, I had it at home. Home was easy, car, not so much! I had the tools then, just had given up on it, therefore I quit learning. I owned the 880 for years, thought measurements were the way to go on t/a........wrong. Once I heard graysons, I regained the.motivations to make mine better, once I heard the possibilities.

Once I started playing again, I started learning too. Then after ten years of ownership, I discovered that my head unit had independent phase control......duh, I knew about the independent eq, but for some reason, not the phase. This was vital, I shifted the phase for a mid and.....Viola! Now we were talking! That was the problem holding me back......for like years......what a shame.

It was OK, just most definately coming from my speakers locations, shallow, and had no focused center. In other words, not good.
