Hey junkies.

My name is Shane. I am a licensed aircraft maintenance engineer(avionics), pilot, and 12 volt specialist. Before aviation I was involved in the car audio industry for a decade from 1999 to 2010. I've run car audio shops and done a zillion deck and fours, and hundreds of remote starts/alarms. My strong points are troubleshooting and wire management, custom I'm not so good at but I know my way around a router and resin I was mecp first class certified for years, that title doesn't exist and mecp is kind of a joke, but unlike most guys I at least had paper, oh yeah I trained at mobile dynamics in 98.

I've recently purchased a caliber srt4 to pair with my omni glh-t and I'm looking forward to furnishing this site with a build log.

Anyways, figured I'd introduce myself here first. Many of you I already know so I'm really stoked to get back into the community.

Honeycomb is great stuff.

I'm going to be using some s rated crow foot weave which is something I've never seen on the forums and you'll all get to see a bunch of aviation style interconnects and terminations.

The thing about wire management in an aircraft that makes the job interesting is (besides old kapton shit) the fact that all the wires are white!!
