Help deciding on a media player

Hello,

I'm seriously considering two media players....

1. Audison Bit Play HD
2. Sony GS9

Each of the above units have their own plus/minus.... The unit used will be integrated into my OEM Acura source, most likely via the Helix DSP Pro.

One of the main features I like about the Audison... it has the ability to project a control screen to the OEM unit as well as certain artwork and track info... Very slick integration GUI...

The GS9 as I understand just simply sounds amazing !

Sure would appreciate input from the CAJ members with hands on experience...

Well a little update... decided to go with the Sony GS9...

Now to come up with a good way to install it...

I didn't have experience with either one unfortunately, but they both look sharp. Doesn't appear you made a bad choice with that Sony, excited to read a review once you get it going

Keep us posted... I was contemplating the Ibasso and the Fiio to use with the Helix. Haven't installed anything yet, so never pulled the trigger. Being the Ibasso is the one out of the two with optical, it probably would have been the ticket unless I modded a Pure dock for an iPod because the Helix doesn't take digital coax.

I don't even know how they would have suited you as they are hand held vs the HU or hidden integration.

I'm very excited about installing the Sony unit... the hi-res solution it offers is very impressive. I'll update my install thread once it's in....
