NC Meet Sept 7...

Velozity and bertholomey are hosting a meet at Aberdeen Lake Park starting at 9:30AM. There will be food, fun, prizes, and lots of cool car stereos to demo.

Yeah we had some issues there Al/Clay It was a shell of what it will be.
My P99 was actually clipping at a much earlier point than I had thought and was gumming up the Mosconi 6to8. Combine that with the fact that ZERO gain/level adjustments were made on any of the physical pieces and I was clipping the signal while only seeing about 2 volts at the amps. Not a recipe for success But that's what you get when you don't have time to do a proper setup and tune. I literally had just gotten sound out of the system on Thursday night before driving out to NC the following morning. No biggie though, I think everyone else was more disappointed than I was about it. I'm sure I'll be able to get out there at some point again though, no worries!

Jason's P99 clips at 61 out of 62 on the volume knob. Mine is at 55. Some of that may be attributed to cuts in the EQ as well on his (Im not sure what the settings are at) whereas mine is set to flat like out of the box.

Yesterday was easily the best meet I've been to. Was so awesome meeting Mr. Al and Clay and Steve and getting to hear lots of great installs. Definitely provided inspiration to move forward with two ideas that had been bouncing around.
