2 Questions
Does the positioning of the DSP matter as far as noise interference, or can it be mounted in the same spot as the amplifiers?
Do I need 2 amp install kits even if I'm mounting the amps right next to each other, or is there usually plenty of wire in 1 kit to do both?
Thank you for any and all help!

Re: 2 Questions
Most people mount the DSP near the amps that way you have shorter RCA runs.
If the amp install kit has wire big enough to handle the current of both amps, then you should be fine. It would be best if each amp had its own fuse, though.

Re: 2 Questions
if the dsp is going to have user controls on the unit, an install location near the driver seat is helpful, or at least having some ability to float the unit with long patch cords until you've got your tune..
PC controlled, you run the cord and mount it in a hole if you want.
some dsp have nice remote control access via wired remote.
I find the ability to tune the dsp without PC intervention is very helpful but it's a lonely view.
running 3 ft cords or 12 foot cords, should NOT differ in end results, but sometimes you find an anomaly.

Re: 2 Questions
In my first install in my 135, I put the BitOne under the amps and next to some of the car electrical modules and did get interference. Root cause ended up being the car modules, not the amps. I mounted the DSP in a couple different locations- both near the amps but away from factory modules- nary a problem after that.
