Not wanting to be argumentative, but rather make sure you didn't get taken

I appreciate that. I didn't get taken. When I build the glass box for it, I'll take pictures. Hell with the recent break in, I've gotta keep my documentation up.

I keep looking at that subwoofer too thinking it's a Power series. Not that there is anything wrong with it, those Power series are absolute monsters... Always wanted to try one after reading they are quite similar to the Gti - owned the MkI and MkII W10Gti, and never got to install either one of them

there's absolutely nothing wrong with the power series, they have an SD that's almost like a 12"... I had a p1222 in my fiesta that kicked ass!!

If you are going to make a glass-box for it... -> make it stable and steady as hell by bracing it and putting stability-ribs or something like that in the enclosure...

    my 0.02$..

What Al said was also my point (really not trying to be a smartass, but I sold a lot of them.. ) and it sucks if it turns out you've been had... ... Maybe it's some special hybrid or prototype.. Power W10 mkII...

I got it from a good friend and I couldn't turn down the price. I'm getting it for less than what OnlineCarStereo has it listed for. It most certainly as a monster while I had everything installed. I'll probably have everything done a week from today. I better get on ordering a new metra kit. I'll need that to finish the install.

The new to me head unit is in my possession as is the PXA-H701. The person I bought it from was a stand up guy. Everything was exactly as described. I'm so excited right now.

You gotta be pretty pathetic to break into someones car, at least the insurance is covering the damage and hopefully the prick that did it get some payback on his end. Anyways.....You did get one fine ass HU/processor, can't wait to see the finished project.

    Re: LittlemissGTO's 2006 GTO

Today I went by the local home theater/audio store to pick up more speaker wire. Those guys are great. When I couldn't give Dwayne an exact amount of feet needed for the rebuild he said, "Here take the roll and bring back what you don't use."

Right now I have 171 feet of speaker wire in my trunk...LOL I know for sure I won't use that much, it's just the fact that he trusts me enough to just hand the spool over to me that makes me feel pretty damned good. While I was there I struck up a cool conversation with a potential customer. Dwayne (salesperson at Music for Pleasure) says, "She puts this kind of great audio in her car." Yes, I had to smile pretty big when he said that. I really can't stress enough how cool these guys I are. I know there are cheaper places I can go to in order to get what I need, but you can't beat handing someone a spool of speaker wire, lending tools, and just saying, "Oh you only owe us for the time we spent putting connectors on your RCAs." These guys will continue to get my business because they are so freaking cool. I also love the fact that they treat me like I'm human and don't look at the fact that right now all I want is stuff for my car. When it comes time for more home stuff, you can bet that's where I'll go to make my purchases.
