I remember seeing pics of this build. Didn't one of the rags do a series of articles on this build?
Funny: I hated it then, and I still hate it now.
I can't remember for sure but it may have been CA&E.
I agree, hated it then and still do.
It definitely has a WOW factor( too much of one I think ). The install that is supposed to highlight the product kind of steals the show. You can tell this was in the whole Fast and the Furious age of custom vehicles.
Not my style, but it looks like good fabrication.
The installation and fabrication was great. But like everyone else, I did not like the outcome. I look at car audio as just that, car audio... something you can enjoy while actually driving your automobile. There is no way that anyone is going to enjoy driving that. It's noce to showcase your product. I just think it should be done that someone car REALISTICALLY see themselves utilizing the product in. Just my .02 for what it's worth.
Love it or hate it, everyone remembers this Civic and the BMW X5 Alpine had.
I don't really hate it overall, I just hate the paint scheme. I never cared for glossy paint over fiberglass...but if the paint was more subdued, or it had vinyl wrapped panels, it would be better.
I hate it But I have one of those cars.
