    Glenn's 2015 Ram 1500 Quad Cab

So I gutted the xB of everything, traded it in for this:

    Plans include:

Pioneer AVH-X4700BS head unit 3-way active HU...K.I.S.S. theory.
Ground Zero GZUC650SQ 6.5'' Uranium Component set
    GZHW25x 10'' Hydrogen Subs
    GZUA4.150SQ Uranium 4-channel amps x 2

    So, plans are:
-subs and amps under rear seat
    -6.5's in stock 6x9 locations
-tweets in the stock 3.5'' location, custom mounted
-Head unit in the stock dash location with a Metra kit
-factory head unit mounted in the small tray under the A/C controls and input into the Aux source on the Pioneer.

Got started on the tweeter mounts. I taped off the stock removeable grills and laid 3 layers of glass over them and trimmed. I made some rings for the tweets out of 1/2'' HDPE and those will be mounted on the glass copies and more glass work for them.

I also made some 1/2'' HDPE adapters for the 6x9 spots in the doors for the 6.5's.

Nice. Why are you using the stock HU into the aux of the Pio?

There are some features the stock HU has that I like and it also controls some of the feature sets of the truck, so I figured I might as well make it work along with controlling those.

This is going to be awesome! Was wondering when your new build log would pop up.

Yay, pitchures! I can't wait to see where this goes. So will the tweeter pods stand up above where the factory grill would be, or will you be insetting them?

99% sure that they will be above the factory grill profile. I don't need them completely on axis, but want to avoid the driver side instrument cluster hump as much as possible.
