2010 Yaris stereo upgrade

the only thing i dont like about the scion headunits is the non-defeatable sound processing. It would be cool if you werent using any amps or any thing, but it boosts at 100hz and is just too boomy all the way through. The pioneer unit that actually has the OEL display is pretty nice as well as the alpine unit from the RS3 xb. Probably will need an eq. The eq7 from ppi is pretty cool,selectable frequencies and good output-cheap too!

i looked at yours, it does it on all the pioneer ones. it has the "ssp" button to tailor to each car with preset curves. The cars and curves are interchangeable, but not defeatable.

Interesting. I'm going to have to think on this decision some more before buying components
