Sub enclosure building is one of many things I've not done, so Just curious on the fastening.

That's the same method I use ^^^ Lots of glue and brad nails to hold it instead of screws.

Yep! Brad nails to hold temporarily, usually long enough to get some clamps on, just pay attention to where you place them, don't want to catch one with an expensive router bit.
