MECA "The Vinny": July 12th @ Lebanon, TN

Anyone planning on making this one?

I know a couple people from out of town are coming (I'm looking at you, Robert). I talked to Mark Eldridge about it and he said he'll be there with his NASCAR for the first time.

This usually shapes up to be one of the larger events of the year, even though it's smack in the middle of Summer.

To top it off, it's going to be a 4x event. With the likes of Eldridge coming, if you can make it, do it.

Several pople have asked, what kind of sub setup was that in the back of the Mercedes? The one with the Genesis amps.

Al, I'm glad you could make if only for a little while. The show ran until nearly 8pm. Judging went until around 7:30. I don't know how many total cars there were, but I've never been at a non-finals event that long. Still, everyone seemed to be cool with it.

There were about 16 last year. big improvement.

That's a good thing for the audio community as a whole. Just wish there were more competitors in general.

indeed. but even I didn't compete. Not to mention it's blazing hot in the middle of July.

On the flip side, look at the CS event held last month. There were probably 50+ people at that one.


I'm with Robert... it would be cool if more people competed or at least came out to support the hobby. But I understand why people don't. Everyone's got a reason (time, don't like competition, money, etc).
