We had our NCSQ Fall Meet and had a good turn out and a lot of fun, but several folks were not able to make it - especially those who are local to here

2014 NCSQ Fall Meet

We are having a mini meet on 8 February to make up for that in Kernersville

But I finally sat down with my calendar and picked a day for the next one.

At my house near Greensboro - PM for the address - I am not going to post it here.

When:
Saturday, 25 April 2015 - 9:00am - 9:00pm

Food:
Probably snack items for lunch - We will likely grill out at our house.

I really had fun at the last one but boy was it an expensive and tiring trip! With gas steadily going down and it being REALLY cheap in TN I might be able to swing this one. Maybe my truck will be lined out with a decent tune by then. Was off my game in the Fall until Mic had his way with it. Turns out my hearing isn't nearly as uneven as I thought it was...I was just doing some critical things backwards. Kendal and Clay like it loud...I'll have something for them at the next one I attend

indeed... gas being cheap is definitely a plus. last year it was in the $3.20 range, IIRC. and if things trend the way they are forecast to, it may actually be half what it was last year.

It is $2.06 today around Charlotte, $1.83 down around Gaffney, SC. Might could plan it out with fillups in SC on the way to the meet and on the way home for those traveling through there.

SC fuel tax is 35.2 cents/gallon and NC is 56.2 cents/gallon It makes a big difference at the pump.

It's $2.05 for regular here by the house and that's several cents higher than it usually is less than half an hour from here. I'd be willing to bet it's in the $1.60 range for regular in TN. I blew through about $300 worth of midgrade back in the Fall. It would be awesome to be able to cut my fuel bill in half. Plus with all the OT I'm having to pull at work...hell the trip I made in the Fall was mostly paid for with OT.
