Pioneer has Active Double Dins now?

Just saw this a few minutes ago:

At one minute and 30 seconds they discuss the active network.

Two minutes and 40 seconds they discuss the crossover settings.

Three minutes and 50 seconds they show you the time alignment screen.
    Are you not entertained?!?!

Looks like the new AppRadio 4 has it also...along with 4v pre-outs, capacitive touch screen, and FLAC support

if you're talking about the current NEX lineup (avh-4000, avic-5000, avic-6000, avic-7000, avic-8000) then they don't have network mode. not sure if the new generation of nex units was announced or not, but yeah. i'm running the 5000nex and it'd definitely be running active if it was available they only have basic crossovers: sub low pass, front/rear highpass, and time alignment for all the outputs, like any of the current mid-range units.

this definitely does look awesome and they're one hell of a budget at these prices. wish they would've gone with a left/right separate eq, preferably parametric, though.

They do have separate loudness control for each speaker so that's pretty good.
I would have preferred a volume knob but beggars can't be choosers. It only took, what, 7 years for this to come out?
I'm going to send Pioneer a thank you email.
